It’s been an exciting season of growth and progress for Rayzor, and we’re thrilled to share what we’ve been up to!
First off, we’re proud to announce that we secured $750 at UConn’s Pitch Night—a big moment that validated the vision behind our autonomous ice resurfacing solution. This support has energized us as we push full steam ahead into product development and market research.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been focused on optimizing the pathing system for the Rayzor machine, ensuring it resurfaces ice with maximum efficiency and precision. Alongside this, our team has started designing a new CAD model of the machine that better reflects the practical and mechanical improvements we’ve envisioned. We’re also revamping our website with a sleek new UI, which will make it easier for visitors to understand what we’re building and stay connected with our journey.
On the outreach side, we’ve launched a Google Form campaign targeting rink owners across the U.S. and Canada. Our goal is to collect valuable insights directly from operators to better understand the ice rink market and its pain points. The response has been promising, and we’re excited to keep these conversations going as we shape Rayzor to meet real-world needs.
Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for two major pitch events:
• inQubator Pitch on April 12th for a chance at $15,000
• Demo Day Pitch on April 15th for an opportunity to win $5,000
These events mark the next big steps in funding and exposure, and we’re putting in the work to make sure we show up strong.
Thanks for following along—there’s plenty more to come, and we can’t wait to bring you along for the ride.
— Team Rayzor
